We are now well-established as Coventry’s favourite Digital Photo Processing Centre and Refiller and Supplier of Quality Printer ink and toner Cartridges ….. so we decided that it was about time we let the the rest of Coventry and Warwickshire know all about who we are and what we do.

We’ve had sign-written vehicles before and they’ve always been a great way of getting ourselves noticed. The recent spell of cold and snowy weather was the final straw for my old car and I needed a change. I had a word with Elliott, at Carstins Subaru and Isuzu based in Balsall Common. I was, initially, looking for a smaller car but Elliott came up with the idea of buying a 4WD Subaru Outback estate (economical and ideal for deliveries in all weathers) and having it sign-wrapped by Sticky Media Signs and Graphics in Bidford Upon Avon.

Elliott lent me a new Ssangyong Korando (really nice car with just about every option you can imagine!) to drive for a few days while the Vehicle Sign-Wrap was being done. He even sorted out the personalised number plate transfer onto the new car. The Carstins team made a great job of preparing the car.

Lucy at Sticky Media was really helpful with the design of the body wrap.  I gave her the brief which was to make it stand out, turn heads, tell people what we do, but don’t make it too cluttered! After a few alterations, Lucy very quickly came up with the half-wrap design and the rest is there for you all to see.

One of the things I particularly like is the QR code that you can see on the back and sides. If you’ve got a smart phone you can scan the code on the car and you’ll be taken to our Facebook page which will display our latest discounts and offers!

I’ve only done a couple of journeys in the car at the time of writing but it clearly turns heads! I’ll just have to make sure I drive slowly enough for people to read about our many products and services here at Coventry Photo Centre!

What’s more, the car is averaging 48+ mpg (really good for a big load-carrying 4WD estate) and I know when it snows next time we’ll still be delivering printer cartridges to our account customers when the competition is stuck and going nowhere!!!

I highly recommend Carstins Subaru in Balsall Common near Coventry. The Subaru Cars are just brilliant: very capable, very safe, reliable (I’ve had 4 before!) and the boxer diesel is economical. The service I received from Elliott and his team at Carstins was nothing short of exceptional.

Now that Christmas has been and gone its becoming very obvious to us that many people are now thinking about their next holidays.

We tell you how to sit, whether or not to wear glasses, how to rearrange your hair (if necessary), your facial expression. We will show you what your photo will be like before printing it.

If the passport office or post office (in a very rare event) rejects your photo we will re-take it free of charge. Just bring in your rejection letter and the original photos. Rest assured, this happens very infrequently …. and certainly far less than when using a photo booth!

Refilled and Compatible Printer ink Cartridges – The best is still available in Coventry!

Here, at Coventry Photo Centre, we still refill printer ink and toner cartridges and we still sell thousands of printer cartridges.

Our range of ink and toner cartridge refills covers most of the popular manufacturers such as HP, Lexmark, Canon, Dell and Brother.

Every week we refill literally hundreds of cartridges for our customers.

Normally, if a customer brings in an empty ink or toner cartridge we will simply swop it for another one that we have already refilled. This speeds things up and stops the need to  ’Refill While You Wait’.

Occasionally, we may need to refill an empty ink cartridge ‘live’ if  it is particularly unusual and not part of our normal stock range. Normally, this only takes 10 minutes or so.

A few FAQs about Our Printer Cartridge Refilling

Do we refill all ink and toner cartridges?

No! …… We do refill a huge range, but not everything. Sometimes this is because it isn’t economical to do so or if we are unhappy about the potential reliability. In these cases we almost always have an alternative compatible replacement that has been specially chosen to offer good value for money.

How Reliable are Refilled Ink and Toner cartridges?

OUR refilled cartridges are VERY reliable. We strive to be the best and we genuinely believe we are. We regularly compare our cartridges to our local and national competitors and we are absolutely convinced that our refills are a cut above the rest in terms of quality and often quantity of usable ink too.

Will a Refilled Ink Cartridge last as long as the original cartridge?

We strive to match the original manufacturer’s volume as a minimum requirement!

In the majority of cases we can add extra ink and so it should last at least as long as the original cartridge and in many cases, much longer. Our PLUS and DOUBLE PLUS range of cartridges offer a significant increase in the ink volume compared to the original cartridges.

Do we simply add new ink on top of the old remaining ink?

NO! … This sets us apart from many of the ink refilling franchises and small independents. The majority of our ink cartridges go through a rigorous process of electrical testing, emptying, flushing, cleaning, refilling under vacuum conditions, cleaning, testing, followed by a unique sealing method.

How do we know the refill will work?

Over 95% of our print-head based cartridges (mostly HP, some Canon, most Lexmark and Dell) are electrically tested and need to pass our high standards before selling to our customers. Only the very rare or unusual ones are not. All cartridges are fully guaranteed.

What is Laser / Toner Cartridge re-manufacturing?

Remanufacturing is a way of describing the refilling of laser/toner cartridges. The process is more involved because we dismantle all of the working parts, thoroughly clean everything, replace worn parts such as drum units, reassemble and refill with fresh toner. Again, our aim is to have the majority of popular toner cartridges ready to go so we swop your empty one for a refilled one.

Does Refilling Save you money and offer value for money?

Yes – without a doubt!

Our ink refills offer anywhere between about 30% and 75% cost savings compared to buying original cartridges and, when applied to our cartridges with extra ink, the savings can be even greater.

Do we do Cheap Printer Ink Cartridges?

We prefer to think of our cartridges as being great value for money …. but many customers do describe them as being cheap (in the nicest sense!). We are not the cheapest because we can’t be, because the quality of the parts we use is so high! Our refilled cartridges are much cheaper than the originals and we believe they offer great value for money.
